The STAAR logo features the Texas flag and the word STAAR.

  1. Click on “Log In to Student Portal”
  2. Click on “Look Up Access Code”
  3. Enter your child’s first name (legal name – no nicknames)
  4. Enter your child’s social security number or state ID (begins with an S)
  5. Enter your child’s date of birth and click “Go”
  6. The student access code should appear.  You will need to re-enter the date of birth and click “Go” again
  7. A screen with your child’s entire Texas state testing history should appear.  This includes tests such as STAAR, TAKS, and TELPAS – not SAT, ACT, or AP exams.
  8. You can click on individual tests to get more information on how your student performed on the test.

The ASVAB is a test used for entrance into the military (all branches), and it is also a test given to help students identify their strengths and weaknesses in a variety of academic areas and skills.  This information is paired with an interest inventory that helps students find what careers are best suited for them.  It is offered to juniors and seniors in October each year at Dayton High School.

Register for the SAT, look for information on the PSAT, SAT, and AP exams.  Sections for students, parents, teachers, and administrators available.

Create an account and get free customized practice to help prepare for the SAT and PSAT.  Available to everyone.

Register for the ACT as well as receive information on test fees, fee waivers, deadlines, and important test dates.
