DISD will reopen Tuesday, May 7 with regular schedules.
We recognize the severity of the impact this storm has caused. Many members of our staff and students' families are continuing to experience flooding conditions in certain communities that will last for the next several days. We understand the need to return to normalcy, however, we also understand the challenges for several of our families and community. Please be safe and use your best judgment based on the road and surrounding conditions where you live.
Transportation services will resume on May 7th at their regular times, and car drop-off procedures will remain unchanged. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.
I am grateful that Dayton ISD banked the appropriate number of minutes in the 2023-2024 school year calendar. We will not need to make up these missed days and we will continue to celebrate our Dayton FFA Holiday this Friday.
Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our Bronco Family. Please continue to be safe and hope to see everyone tomorrow

DISD reabrirá el martes 7 de mayo con horarios regulares.
Reconocemos la gravedad del impacto que ha causado esta tormenta. Muchos miembros de nuestro personal y familias de estudiantes continúan experimentando inundaciones en ciertas comunidades que durarán los próximos días. Entendemos la necesidad de regresar a la normalidad, sin embargo, también entendemos los desafíos para varias de nuestras familias y comunidades. Tenga cuidado y utilice su mejor criterio según la carretera y las condiciones circundantes donde vive.
Los servicios de transporte se reanudarán el 7 de mayo en su horario habitual y los procedimientos para dejar a los estudiantes permanecerán sin cambios. Agradecemos su paciencia y cooperación durante este tiempo.
Agradeciendo que Dayton ISD haya acumulado la cantidad adecuada de minutos en el calendario del año escolar 2023-2024. No necesitaremos recuperar estos días perdidos y continuaremos celebrando nuestro feriado de Dayton FFA este viernes.
